Area Information
Greater Lewis County covers 2,452 square miles and includes Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Mt. Rainier National Park, The Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Adams, the Tatoosh Wilderness, the Goat Rocks Wilderness, and is a gateway to Pacific Ocean beaches.
Centralia and Chehalis are situated halfway between Seattle to the north and Portland to the
south, along Interstate 5.
This area generally enjoys a moderate climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters.
